Hi, i'm david!

I started photography in 9th grade as a hobby I enjoyed alongside making YouTube videos playing video games with my friends. It was an elective I wanted on my own, sheerly from my own desire. Eventually I won a few awards locally from the Scholastic Mid-South Art & Writing Awards and had a photo of mine displayed in the Brooks Museum in Memphis, TN!

I won 2 Gold Keys and 4 Silver Keys and a few honorable mentions.

I'm not listing these accomplishments because I think they make me worthy of your business. I listed them because I notice now, in hindsight, that in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade that the reward were an acknowledgement of the gift there was in me that I had NO idea about.

No, a few gold and silver keys doesn't make me the new Picasso, but it does show there's something there. Even after those year, the eye for composition never left me. Now after picking back up a camera for a few years, working a few jobs for friends and relatives and others, I decided, after prayer and much wise counsel, to take the gift I have and serve others for the Kingdom of God, bringing "Visualz" to the things God's created.

Aesthetic Style - Candid Photography

WHAT CANDID PHOTOGRAPHY IS:

Candid photography is "an unposed picture that captures a person in a natural, spontaneous, and real moment".

Candid photography is the main style which I capture God's beautiful creation and your special moments. I do capture poses, don't get me wrong. However, within the posing I do, it will center on you being present in the moment and soak in the atmosphere of the session. That brings the real emotion, raw character, and presence of the moment out of people when they pose. That's why I love the candid photography style, and it's my main course of action.
